Composed of over 228,000 individual dots, constructed in a precise dotwork halftone style and sealed beneath a high-gloss resin surface, the work explores time, memory, and perpetual change. At its center is a figure reduced to a silhouette. Without a face. Without a clear identity. Not as a specific person, but as a state between past, present, and what is yet to come. The form oscillates between angel and bird. Between something that is carried and something that must fly on its own. Between protection, instinct, and transformation. The wings are not a closed structure, but fragments of a life. Moments of closeness, childhood, lightness, and connection, but also transience, distance, and farewell. What appears calm and complete from a distance disintegrates into thousands of individual dots up close. A structure that suggests stability, even though it is constantly changing. BECOMING depicts transformation not as a clear transition, but as an ongoing state. Because nothing in a person remains completely unchanged. Personality arises from memories, experiences, losses, and encounters. From everything that shapes us and simultaneously changes us. The character is neither at the beginning nor at the end. But precisely in between. In a moment when everything exists simultaneously: that which was, that which is, and that which is already beginning to become something new.
