Composed of over 180,000 individual dots, constructed in a precise dotwork halftone style and sealed beneath a high-gloss resin surface, the artwork oscillates between absolute control and silent decay. At first glance, everything appears clear. Almost serene. A perfect line structures the space—reduced, precise, seemingly balanced. But as one approaches, this order begins to unravel. The line, which creates distance and provides orientation, reveals itself as something fragile. Not a clean separation, but a scar—crisped by fine cracks and irregularities. An element that suggests stability while already containing the seeds of rupture. Within this structure, a reality unfolds that defies categorization. Primal power, nature, instinct—and simultaneously, compression, acceleration, system. Not opposites, but states that exist in parallel and displace one another. The butterfly, as a symbol of transformation, stands at the heart of this tension. Yet here it appears not as a free symbol of development, but as a vulnerable form caught between forces that shape and simultaneously dissolve it. Change is not linear progress, but a process that encompasses both loss and creation. What is perceived as equilibrium is, in truth, an unstable moment. A state between two directions that can tip at any moment. Balance here is not a goal— but a fleeting state before something breaks apart. Change is not a goal— but a brief state before something collapses.
